The Mid-Atlantic Cobra Association is, quite simply, a great group of SVT Cobra-loving people. We have men and women from all different walks of life in each of the 'Mid-Atlantic' states: Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. We started back in the summer of 2004 with 4 cars/guys in a parking lot getting together just to talk cars. Since that day the Mid-Atlantic Cobra Association has grown to over 300 members and shows no signs of slowing down. We receive new member e-mails from people interested in our club frequently and we receive new members' information almost daily. The MACA is a group of fun loving people who love our Cobras and love to drive them, whether that be at the strip, an autocross or on the open track.

The MACA hosts events very frequently. While many of them are planned, there are quite a few events that are improvised on a particular weekend. Mostly these events include hanging out at a track, meeting up at a restaurant, attending a car show, meeting for a nice back-road cruise, driving in an autocross or making a weekend out of an open track event. Whatever the event, the MACA brings a friendly, family-like atmosphere to it. Also, the varied experience of our members can also provide a learning environment where a Cobra-owner can become much more familiar with their car than they ever imagined. Whether it's learning how to drive the perfect 10 second quarter mile, how to install a supercharger, or how to drive an autocross the quickest way possible, the MACA has someone who has done it and is usually more than willing to help out. The MACA is a group of friends that share a passion for their cars and other common interests.

The MACA is a completely voluntary organization. If you wish to attend an event then we are glad to have you, but you should never feel pressured to do so. We do host a major annual event that we sincerely attempt to get everyone to attend and very much hope they do.
